Chamber of Mediators of Serbia

The Chamber of Mediators is a voluntary, non-governmental and non-profit association, based on the freedom of association of several individuals and / or legal entities established to promote and achieve the goals of the Chamber.

About the Chamber of Mediators of Serbia

The Chamber of Mediators represents the voice of mediators in the Republic of Serbia and is the bearer of business and regulatory environment in the field of mediation and regulations directly related to mediation with active participation and partnership with the President of Serbia, Government of the Republic of Serbia, autonomous provinces, local governments, businesses and representatives of economy, law and related faculties, other relevant institutions and organ-izations in the Republic of Serbia as well as international institutions operating in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

The Chamber of Mediators of Serbia is established in order to achieve goals in the field of improving the development of mediation, as well as regulations that are directly related to mediation; representing the interests of mediators; systematization and unification of legal and professional documents of business connection and informing members in the field of mediation; improving the social network for members of the Chamber of Mediators; raising the competitiveness of the legal science.

The scope of work of the Chamber of Mediators includes the following:

defining the strategy for the development of mediation, but also regulations that are directly related to mediation:
cooperation with universities, schools, professional and similar associations, as well as other organizations and associations in the country and abroad that deal with mediation;
initiating and participating in the implementation of development projects of interest to legal science and lawyers in the Republic of Serbia, and especially important for mediation as part of legal doctrine;
connecting its members with scientific-research and research-development institutions and encouraging the development of mediation in their directions of development;
monitoring current legal issues related to mediation, by areas and informing members about all news, amendments to laws that are in coalition with mediation, etc .;
modernization and formation of modern information flows;
access to various Internet services for information and other services in the field of legal in-formation;
connecting its members with institutions in the country and abroad;
providing consulting services and various forms of legal and other assistance to its members;
organizing presentations of new laws, preparation and promotion of standard acts in the field of mediation;
organization (independently or in cooperation with other organizations) of professional sem-inars, meetings, conferences and other forms of education in the field of mediation;
publishing books and other publications and journals on issues related to legal science, especially in the field of mediation;
giving advice and support to its members;
positioning and eventual provision of services on the market, as well as eventual performance of other activities of economic character;
performing other services at the request of members and third parties;
performing other activities of interest to legal science and mediation, independently and / or in cooperation with state bodies and organizations, scientific and other institutions and establishments;
mediation
establishment of an appropriate media (Internet portal / electronic magazine) in accordance with the positive legal regulations in the Republic of Serbia.

MEMBERSHIP IN THE CHAMBER OF MEDIATORS

Acquiring the status of a member of the Chamber of Mediators

Members of the Chamber of Mediators can be mediators registered in the Register of Me-diators of the RS Ministry of Justice, students of faculties in the Republic of Serbia, as well as business entities that perform registered activities in the Republic of Serbia, which accept the goals and acts of the Chamber of Mediators. in the manner regulated by this Statute.

Exceptionally, members of the Chamber of Mediators may be other persons with the ap-proval of the President and / or persons authorized by him.

Membership in the Chamber of Mediators is voluntary and there are the following forms of membership:

preparatory members;
regular members;
corporate members;
VIP members;
honorary members.

Preparatory members of the Chamber of Mediators

Preparatory members of the Chamber of Mediators (hereinafter: preparatory members) are students of faculties in the Republic of Serbia who sign the application form, accept the Statute and other acts of the Chamber of Mediators and participate in achieving goals and objectives set by this Statute.

Preparatory members do not have the right to vote or the right to be elected to the bodies of the Chamber of Mediators.

The decision on admission to the membership of the Chamber of Mediators of the Prepara-tory Member is made by the President of the Chamber, based on the submitted individual application and informs the Assembly.

The application and the necessary documentation for admission to the membership of the Chamber of Mediators will be available on the website of the Chamber of Mediators and can be submitted and / or in writing and / or by e-mail.

Exceptionally, the President of the Chamber of Mediators may decide to accept a member of the Chamber of Mediators, as a preparatory member, who is not a student of the faculty, if that person can contribute to achieving goals and / or raising the reputation of the Chamber of Mediators.

Against the decision of the President of the Chamber of Mediators on admission to mem-bership, an objection may be submitted to the Commission formed by the Assembly, within 8 (eight) days from the date of receipt of the decision. The commission from the previous paragraph decides on the complaint within 8 (eight) days from the receipt of the complaint.

Preparatory members do not pay membership fees for membership in the Chamber of Mediators.

Regular members of the Chamber of Mediators

Regular members of the Chamber of Mediators (hereinafter: regular members) are common people – citizens of the Republic of Serbia with a university degree, who are registered in the register of mediators and others who sign the application form, accept the Statute and other acts of the Chamber of Mediators and participate in achieving goals. tasks determined by this Statute.

Regular members have the right to vote and the right to be elected to the bodies of the Chamber of Mediators.

The decision on admission to the membership of the Chamber of Mediators of a regular member is made by the President of the Chamber of Mediators, based on the submitted individual application and notifies the Assembly within 3 (three) days from the date of receipt of the application.

The application and the necessary documentation for admission to the membership of the Chamber of Mediators will be available on the website of the Chamber of Mediators and can be submitted and / or in writing and / or by e-mail.

Exceptionally, the President of the Chamber of Mediators may decide to admit a person who does not meet the requirements of paragraph 1 of this Article as a regular member, if that person can contribute to achieving the goals and / or raising the reputation of the Chamber of Mediators.

Against the decision of the President of the Chamber of Mediators on admission to membership, an objection may be submitted to the Commission formed by the Assembly, within 8 (eight) days from the date of receipt of the decision.

The commission from the previous paragraph decides on the complaint within 8 (eight) days from the receipt of the complaint.

The regular member pays the membership fee for membership in the Chamber of Mediators, based on the decision of the competent body of the Chamber of Mediators.

Corporate members of the Chamber of Mediators

Corporate members of the Chamber of Mediators (hereinafter: corporate members) are business entities (legal entities) in the Republic of Serbia, which sign the application form, accept the Statute and other acts of the Chamber of Mediators and participate in achieving goals and objectives set by this Statute.

Corporate members have the right to vote and the right to be elected to the bodies of the Chamber of Mediators through their representative when appointed upon admission to membership.

The decision on admission to the membership of the Chamber of Mediators of a corporate member is made by the President of the Chamber of Mediators, based on the submitted individual application and notifies the Assembly within 3 (three) days from the date of receipt of the application.

The application and the necessary documentation for admission to the membership of the Chamber of Mediators will be available on the website of the Chamber of Mediators and can be submitted and / or in writing and / or by e-mail.

Exceptionally, the President of the Chamber of Mediators may decide to admit to the membership of the Chamber of Mediators, as corporate members, economic entities (citizens’ associations, cooperatives, foundations, representative offices, entrepreneurs and other bodies and organizations) that do not meet the membership criteria from paragraph 1. of this Article, and if they can contribute to achieving the goals and / or raising the reputation of the Chamber of Mediators.

Against the decision of the President of the Chamber of Mediators on admission to membership, an objection may be submitted to the Commission formed by the Assembly, within 8 (eight) days from the date of receipt of the decision.

The commission from the previous paragraph decides on the complaint within 8 (eight) days from the receipt of the complaint.

Corporate members pay the membership fee for membership in the Chamber of Mediators, based on the decision of the competent body of the Chamber of Mediators.

VIP members of the Chamber of Mediators

VIP members of the Chamber of Mediators (hereinafter: VIP members) are business entities (legal entities) in the Republic of Serbia, which sign the application form, accept the Statute and other acts of the Chamber of Mediators and participate in achieving goals and objectives set by this Statute.

VIP members have the right to vote and the right to be elected to the bodies of the Chamber of Mediators through their representative when appointed upon admission to membership.

A VIP member of the Assembly of the Chamber of Mediators may appoint two representatives.

The decision on admission to the membership of the Chamber of Mediators VIP member is made by the President of the Chamber of Mediators, based on the submitted individual application and notifies the Assembly within 3 (three) days from the date of receipt of the application.

The application and the necessary documentation for admission to the membership of the Chamber of Mediators will be available on the website of the Chamber of Mediators and can be submitted and / or in writing and / or by e-mail.

Exceptionally, the President of the Chamber of Mediators may decide to admit to the membership of the Chamber of Mediators, as VIP members, economic entities (citizens’ associations, cooperatives, foundations, representative offices, entrepreneurs and other bodies and organizations) that do not meet the criteria for membership from paragraph 1. of this Article, and if they can contribute to achieving the goals and / or raising the reputation of the Chamber of Mediators. of this Article, and if they can contribute to achieving the goals and / or raising the reputation of the Chamber of Mediators.

Physical person (natural entity ) cannot be VIP member of the Chamber of Mediators.

VIP members pay the membership fee for membership in the Chamber of Mediators, based on the decision of the competent body of the Chamber of Mediators

Honorary members of the Chamber of Mediators

Honorary members of the Chamber of Mediators (hereinafter: Honorary Members) may be regular, corporate and VIP members who sign the application form, accept the Statute and other acts of the Chamber of Mediators and participate in achieving the goals and objectives set out in this Statute.

Honorary members do not have the right to vote or the right to be elected to the bodies of the Chamber of Mediators.

Honorary members do not pay membership fees for membership in the Chamber of Media-tors.
